Hard Way To The Valley is reader’s theater, relating the Lost Wagon Train of 1853’s experiences from actual pioneer diary entries. The eight-member production team tells the tale with over twenty pioneer voices and injects humor into what could have become an unfolding tragedy. Lane County residents rescued the members of this unfortunate wagon train and many of the wagon train’s members settled here.
